VEMECH is located in Wolvertem, where both office and workshop are located. As an automation engineer and robot programmer, you will take care of the automation control of our prototype customized machines and robotic systems, each with their unique functionalities.

Vacancy description:

  • Robot programming (Fanuc, KUKA, UR cobots, ...) yet to be defined
  • PLC Siemens Tia Portal programming
  • Technical documentation such as functional analysis and flow charts
  • Project follow-up
  • Commissioning of the machine
  • Staying up to date with latest systems and suppliers.

Your profile

  • Minimum 1 year experience in both robot and PLC programming, preferably Siemens Tia Portal and Fanuc.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree.

Mechanic (with TIG welding specialisation)

As a handson mechanic with TIG welding experience, you will be integrated into our diverse and experienced team of mechanics and mechanical engineers. As a pivotal member of our special mechanical engineering team, you will have a varied and exciting working week.

Job description

As a mechanic, you will be responsible for assembling, maintaining and repairing mechanical systems and machines. You work on various projects where precision and quality are paramount.
  • Mechanical assembly of machines and installations.
  • Performing TIG welding work (INOX).
  • Inspecting and maintaining existing installations
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Contributing to the improvement of production processes.

Senior Mechanical engineer

As a mechanical engineer, you are in the near vicinity during the construction of the machines you design, since we have a very strong in-house construction philosophy. We offer a flexible, relaxed workspace with sliding hours and remote work.

Job description

  • Defining (prototype) machine and robot concepts, such as assembly machines, pick & place, mchatronics and more.
  • Developing detailed partslist in 2D for our workshop to manufacture components.
  • Selecting parts and suppliers.
  • Project follow-up during every stage of the project.
  • Technical communication with customers and suppliers.
  • Commissioning the machine.
  • Preparing the technical construction file.
  • Be up-to-date with newest systems and suppliers.
