Fast and flexible vial tray loading

A cobot vial tray loader automatically loads vials into trays using collaborative robot technology. VEMECH develops custom systems for pharmaceutical production lines, with capacities of up to 600 vials per minute.

The cobot handles the repetitive loading process in akylux or plastic or stainless steel tray while maintaining accurate and controlled product handling. This makes the system suitable for high-speed vial processing as well as flexible production environments.

Up to 600 vials per minute

The vial tray loader receives vials from an upstream conveyor and positions them for automatic akylux or plastic or stainless steel tray loading. The cobot then picks the vials and places them into the correct positions in the tray.

Depending on the vial and tray configuration, multiple vials can be handled during each robot cycle. This allows the system to achieve high throughput while maintaining precise positioning.

For pharmaceutical vials

The system can be designed for different vial formats, including vials from 2 ml to 100 ml.

The gripper, product handling and tray loading pattern are adapted to the specific vial. This ensures controlled movement and accurate placement throughout the process.

Cobot automation and flexibility

A cobot provides flexibility when different products or tray configurations need to be processed. The robot program can be adjusted for different vial formats, tray layouts and production requirements.

This makes the solution suitable for production lines where product changes occur regularly.

Vision-guided vial handling

A vision system can be integrated when accurate product recognition or positioning is required. The camera can detect the position and orientation of the vials before the cobot picks them.

Vision inspection can also be used after tray loading to verify the presence and position of the vials. Incorrectly loaded trays can then be detected automatically.

Integration into your production line

The cobot vial tray loader can be integrated with vial conveyors, tray conveyors, buffers, tub handling systems and packaging machines.
